Sooooooooo..... I woke up yesterday aaaaaaaaand... I just wasn't having it.
I woke up later than the day before and I had NO motivation what so ever and I kept forcing myself to go back to sleep. I don't actually know what kept me so unmotivated.
Maybe it was because it was too cold to get up?
Maybe I just knew that everyone was home today and didn't want to talk to anyone?
I don't know what the reason was, but either way, I eventually I forced myself to wake up, get out of bed, go to the bathroom and do my morning routine. It took me a while to get moving, but it happened and I did it. 10 POINTS FOR RAVENCLAW!!!

By the time I took a shower and got ready for my day I was still feeling like... bleh, BUT I put on my big girl pants and went to do my work out.
Was I ready for this?
Naaaaaaaah.... but I wanted to get as much stuff done as possible, before everyone woke up, so I got to it.
Just like the day before, I did 3 reps of:
10 squats
10 push-ups (the girl ones let's be real here)
10 sit-ups

Dang I am so lazy... what on earth is my problem?
Oh well, I did it anyway and then I laid on the floor till I felt like moving. It was probably like 5 minutes or so. No biggie.
Yesterday's routine was a little bit different from the day before. Since I have been trying to better myself, I thought it would be best to incorporate the rosary into my morning routine.
Unfortunately, I am having a hard time finding any one of my many MANY rosaries. I think they might be in a box somewhere. Or at my mom's house.
I really hope I didn't lose them...
But anywaaaaays... so I did the rosary. I used this itty bitty fancy booklet that was given to me a long time ago and it was helpful, but I still didn't have a rosary, so I used my fingers to keep track of where I was.

Now that I am looking at the front of the booklet... I realize thaaaaat there is a rosary on the front and I TOTALLY could have used that.
I am actively face palming myself.
Oh well, next time maybe.
Actually, next time I am going to use a different book. This one was really short and didn't specify when certain things were supposed to be done and on what bead, so I had to go off of memory and let's face it... my memory isn't the best ha!
I have more booklets so its okay.
I think I will try them all to see which one I like best and if I can't find one I like, I will either go online and find one that fits my needs or make my own. It could be fun.

After I was finished with the rosary I did the rest of my morning routine and washed some dishes, listened to a podcast, and made some breakfast.
I know it doesn't look like much, but I enjoyed every bite.
I freaking love waffles!
Anyway, the podcast was alright, but it was mostly for small businesses and come on let's face it, my business is SO small it is hardly a business, so it didn't really benefit me too much.
Now that we are on the topic of podcasts though, I did listen to one the other day that made me think about my life and what not, so I think I want to insert that here. Well, at least talk about it here.
In short, it was about how to discipline and how to create a habit, so I have been trying to create the habit of a morning routine, but it takes 30 days to create a habit and I am already struggling, but that is okay, I am learning as I go and that is okay.
So reflecting on that I would like to touch base on that by using the series of questions I learned:
30 Day Discipline Challenge
What is one thing in your life that you want to be more disciplined in?
Morning routine
Today my intention is...
To do my morning routine <3
My purpose for that is...
To get me ready and prepared for what will come my way today
The skill I'm going to build is...
Day preparation to keep me grounded.
At the end of the day, look back and reflect:
What did I do?
I did my morning routine
How did I do?
I did pretty good, just a little slower than before.
When events popped up, did I respond well?
I worked through my ick in order to get it done.
Was I disciplined or default?
I was disciplined enough to do my routine.
So yeah over all I think I did pretty good. But, that's where I am ending that. Thank you very much and see ya next time. Bye.
